Use of the service

Qibla Finder Online is a free tool that calculates the Qibla direction, prayer times, and related information in your browser. You do not need an account, and we do not charge for access. You may use the site for your own personal, religious, and educational purposes.

Accuracy and religious guidance

We work to keep the calculations correct, but we cannot guarantee that every result is right for every location or moment. The Qibla bearing and prayer times are computed from your coordinates and published astronomical formulas, and a real compass reading also depends on your device sensor and calibration. Treat the results as a helpful guide, not a religious ruling. For the official prayer times and to confirm the Qibla, follow your local mosque or a qualified Islamic authority.

Acceptable use

Do not use the site in a way that breaks the law, interferes with its normal operation, or tries to disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorised access to it or to the services it depends on. Do not present the site as your own or remove notices of ownership.

No warranties

The site is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that it will be accurate, uninterrupted, error free, or available at any particular time. You use it at your own discretion and risk.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage that arises from your use of the site or your reliance on its results, including a prayer performed in a direction or at a time that later proves inaccurate. The site is free and runs on your own device, so no fee is paid to us and none is refundable.

Third-party services

When you search for a place, your query is sent to the OpenStreetMap Nominatim service to look up coordinates, and map tiles are loaded from OpenStreetMap. These services have their own terms and privacy policies, which govern how you use them. We are not responsible for the content or availability of any third-party service. Intellectual property

The name, design, text, and original code of the site belong to their respective owners. Map data is © OpenStreetMap contributors, used under the Open Database License. You may use the site for personal worship and reference, but you may not copy or redistribute it as your own product.

We may update these terms from time to time. The current version always appears on this page, and continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
