Privacy Policy

Your privacy matters. Qibla Finder Online is designed to work without collecting your personal data.

Location

When you tap “Use my location”, your browser shares your coordinates with the page so it can calculate the Qibla and prayer times. This happens entirely in your browser. We do not send your location to our servers, store it, or share it with anyone.

Device motion

The live compass reads your device's orientation sensors to point toward the Qibla. This data is used in real time on your device only and is never recorded.

Search

When you search for a city or address, the query is sent to the OpenStreetMap Nominatim geocoding service to look up coordinates. Please see the OpenStreetMap Foundation's privacy policy for how they handle requests. We do not attach any identifier to these lookups.

Maps

Map tiles are loaded from OpenStreetMap. Your browser requests map images directly from their servers when you use map mode.

Cookies & analytics

We use no advertising cookies and no third-party analytics or tracking. A small amount of data (such as your theme choice and Tasbih count) is kept in your browser's local storage on your device and never leaves it.
